  1. How to make a HD version of 5th Element!

  4. Okay, I've recieved some request for a english version of this file.
  5. And now I have some time to write it, okay lets go:

  7. My english is not very well, so, don't be angry with me :-)

  9. Before I start, I want to sa something:
  10. Please, if you patch a game with my crack (or the crack of somebody
  11. else) and release it as Harddisk version, you should sign me (or the
  12. person who cracked it) as the cracker. We've done a lot of work at some
  13. games.

  15. Something else:
  16. Stealing cracks or crack patterns is not very nice, I don't want to
  17. name a person, but in the scene there are some phreaks, who think they
  18. can steal and release them as theire own version. I'm very unhappy
  19. about that, please don not steal cracks or something else.

  25. Okay, lets start right now:

  27. 1. Install the game (5th Element)
  28. 2. Copy the game to another directory.
  29. 3. Uninstall the game
  30. 4. Copy the crack in the directory where 5th Element is and run it.
  31. 5. Copy this Subdirectories from the CD to your Eth Element directory:
  32.     <Intro>
  33.     <Map0>
  34.     <Map1>
  35.     <Map2>
  36.     <Map3>
  37.     <Map4>
  38.     <Map5>
  39.     <Menu>
  40.    The <Wav> directory should already exist.
  41.    The <Movies> directory can be ignored, with the patch you are not able 
  42.    to see the movies. <redist> is only DirectX.
  43. 6. Okay, some files left: You need the Indeo player to see the movies.
  44.    Sometimes the game works without it, I don't know why it works or
  45.    why not. Just install it and the game will run. The Kalisto Setup
  46.    is needed to change the 3D driver between 3DFX and software. It
  47.    should be added too (3DFX is default). 
  48. 7. Copy the <5th.reg> (this file should be included in this zip) in
  49.    to the directory with 5th element. 
  50. 8. Okay, thats all, just pack it and... okay now you know what to do<g>
